Set up Photo Finish and Teletimer equipment prior to the running of each live race.Distribute information necessary individuals, outlets, and departments.Generate, produce, and verify accuracy of daily information.Enter and compile entry information into Incompass system.Enter entry information into database using RTO-Incompass system.Solicit entries from Trainers and Authorized Agents when required.Determine eligibility and starting requirements.Enter horses into races offered by the Racing Secretary for each live racing card by computer, in-person, via phone/text, etc.
The candidate must have experience in multiple positions pertaining to the Racing department operation including, but not limited to, Entry Clerk, Stakes Coordinator, Claims Clerk, Placing Judge, and Participation in the Entry Draw Process. The Racing Official position is responsible for performing multiple functions in the Racing Operation.
